Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating user accounts in an enterprise directory system like Active Directory
  • Managing file server permissions
  • Adding users to AD security and distribution groups
  • Installing end user applications on Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Installing and updating drivers and firmware on workstations
  • Troubleshooting print management issues and settings
  • Creating and modifying mailboxes within Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Knowledge of telephony principals and VOIP protocols
  • Knowledge of Ethernet network topologies both LAN and WAN
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008/2012

 

Knowledge in network infrastructure that includes:

1. Networking Hardware

  • Routers
  • Switches
  • LAN cards
  • Wireless routers
  • Cables

2. Networking Software

  • Network operations and management
  • Operating systems
  • Firewall
  • Network security applications

3. Other Services:

  • IP Phone
  • Wireless protocols
  • IP addressing

 

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • With 4 years’ experience of relevant technical experience
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
  • With good English Communication skills
  • Has good attention to details, problem-solving, problem analysis, planning and organizing, adaptable and can work with a team or alone.
