TOA Global welcomes new VP of Finance 900x675 768x576

TOA Global is pleased to announce that Brooke Dang has joined the company as VP of Finance, effective Nov. 16, 2020.

While based in TOA Global’s San Diego, California, office, Brooke will utilize her wealth of experience in international operations (North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and Middle East) to manage the company’s global day-to-day operations in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe, and support continued global expansion.

Before joining TOA Global, Brooke held a Corporate Controller position at MMI, a U.S. publicly traded manufacturing and distribution company in over 40 countries under 14 subsidiaries. Brooke graduated with a master’s degree focused on accounting and taxation, and a bachelor’s degree, with a minor in finance and international business, from the University of San Diego.

Brooke has over 20 successful years of experience across the finance and accounting industries. Her administrative responsibilities span across areas of information technology, human resources, operation, and legal. She has an extensive background in ERP implementations, VAT and sales tax, international business, and income tax reporting, as well as solid analytical skills.

With Brooke on board, Peter Brown, TOA Global’s CFO, says he’s looking forward to new ideas and a different perspective. “Brooke will bring to the table a vast knowledge of international operations, particularly in the area of tax and compliance,” says Peter. “Having worked as a consultant and in many different industries, her breadth of experience and knowledge of how many different businesses work can be incorporated or adapted into the way TOA operates.”

Brooke says she’s elated to be joining the finance team. “My previous corporate experience encompasses multinational corporate accounting, including regulatory compliance,” she adds. “My choice in joining TOA Global was one that hinged on two aspects: Professionalism, and subject matter. The hiring process keyed me in on the former, and the latter … Accounting is the space in which I am most happy. I absolutely love to delve into the complexities of accounting and finance problems. I look forward to an environment in which I will be able to learn from my colleagues, as well as be a resource to them; a strong collaborator, and a mentor. I am so pleased to be able to share in TOA’s future.”
