TOA young leader award honors young individuals driving positive business impact
TOA Global announced its sponsorship of the 12th Asia CEO Awards. As a business award sponsor, it will present the TOA Global Young Leader of The Year Award, which recognizes young individuals who have made remarkable achievements that advance the Philippines’ economy or social standing in the eyes of the world.
The award category is open to everyone from the business community up to age 35 who holds a managerial position and above. The award also celebrates their drive to support the country as young leaders at a time of unprecedented challenges.
“At TOA Global, 86 per cent of our team members are millennials, and we’ve seen them go out of their way to make a positive impact not just on our business but also on our clients,” says Gemma Gaerlan, VP of Philippines at TOA Global.

Asia CEO Awards aims to promote the Philippines as a premier business destination in the world by recognizing leaders and entrepreneurs who are excelling in various industries, including telecommunications, technology, logistics, insurance and real estate. It is also widely considered the largest and one of the most prestigious business awards programs in Southeast Asia.
The awards will be presented on Oct. 12, 2021. The closing date for entries is Aug. 16, 2021, and nominations can be made online at Asia CEO Awards.
This year’s theme “Recover, Reset, Reignite” resonates well with TOA because despite the pandemic, it continues to create job opportunities, recruit the best talent and help them thrive globally.
