TOA Global’s leaders are honored to announce the appointment of Mareta Akari as our Chief Customer Officer (CCO), a global leadership role dedicated to our existing clients.
“The Chief Customer Officer role has been purpose-built to ensure that as we grow, our existing clients never lose the quality of relationships and strategic support you deserve,” said CEO Jeremy Clements, who announced the development.
In her new role, Mareta will exercise global oversight of all client-facing functions, with all client teams reporting directly to her.
“I’ve spent the last four years building a customer function designed around one question: is the shape of our team serving the client outcome? That work doesn’t stop. It scales. I’m looking forward to getting to know the North American client community and bringing the same thinking to how we support your businesses,” our new CCO said.
A dedicated advocate for your business’ growth
What this means for TOA Global’s North American clients: a dedicated executive advocate whose focus is the success of your partnership with TOA Global, someone with the track record, intelligence, and credibility to make a real difference for your business.
Since 2013, TOA Global has connected more than 1,258 businesses, the majority of them accounting firms, with the elite accounting and finance professionals they need.
Strategic accounting outsourcing has enabled our clients in the United States and Canada, among other countries, to grow sustainably and adapt to changes in the profession, its regulations, and technology.
Mareta brings close to four years of experience at TOA Global. She joined the business in October 2022 as Vice President of Customer for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Build and scale offshore accounting and finance teams
Until recently, she served as Country Manager for our ANZ region, where she built and led one of the most successful client functions in our organization’s history.
Before joining TOA Global, Mareta held senior leadership consulting roles and spent a decade based in London and Paris, leading client transformation programs, including organizational design and development; diversity and inclusion initiatives; and change management.
Her experience has given her a rare combination of organizational expertise and deep operational knowledge of what it takes to build and scale high-performing offshore accounting and finance teams.
